Participation Rules
Intensive Hackathon: From Beginner to Job-Ready Analyst
in Just 3 Weekends

1. General Provisions
1.1. These Rules govern participation in the educational event — the Power BI data analytics intensive (hereinafter referred to as "Hackathon" or "the Course").
1.2. The organizer of Hackathon is BIBJ LLC.
1.3. A participant is any individual who has fully or partially paid for the course and completed the registration form.
2. Participation Conditions
2.1. Participation is allowed only after full payment or a signed agreement for installment payments.
2.2. Space is limited. The organizer reserves the right to deny registration if the event is full.
2.3. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Minors may be accepted only with prior approval from the organizer.
3. Format and Schedule
3.1. Hackathon is conducted in person on the following dates:
Dates: August 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, and 17
Class time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Venue: TBD, Somerset, NJ
3.2. If a session is missed, the participant will receive a video recording and may ask questions via the support chat.
3.3. Repeated tardiness or disruptive behavior may result in restricted access without compensation.
3.4. Trainers may be changed at any time without prior notice.
4. Educational Materials and Rights
4.1. All course materials are for personal use only.
4.2. Distribution, resale, sharing with third parties, or publishing materials without written permission from the organizer is prohibited.
4.3. Participants will receive:
- Methodological guides
- Templates and checklists
- A PDF cheat sheet
- Session recordings (if needed)
5. Certification
5.1. Participants who complete the final project and attend at least 4 out of 5 sessions will receive a personalized certificate of completion.
5.2. Certificates are issued in printed and/or digital format and may be used in professional portfolios, résumés, and LinkedIn profiles.
6. Financial Terms and Refund Policy
6.1. Course fee: $3,000 USD. Payment can be made in one or two installments (by agreement).
6.2. Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- 7 or more calendar days before the course start: 100% refund minus bank fees
- 3 to 6 calendar days before the start: 50% refund
- Less than 72 hours before start: No refund
6.3. If the course is canceled by the organizer, a full refund will be issued.
6.4. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
7. Participant Conduct and Responsibility
7.1. Participants must maintain respectful behavior toward fellow attendees, speakers, and organizers.
7.2. Use of alcohol, illegal substances, or displaying aggressive/offensive behavior is grounds for immediate removal without a refund.
7.3. The organizer is not responsible for lost personal belongings or incidents caused by the participant (medical or technical).
8. Force Majeure
8.1. The organizer reserves the right to change the schedule or format of the event due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, etc.).
8.2. In the event of rescheduling, participants may choose between:
- Attending on the new date
- Receiving a full refund
9. Miscellaneous
9.1. Participation in the course signifies acceptance of all the terms in these Rules.
9.2. Any disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be handled under the laws of the State of New Jersey.
